Can the Property Owner’s Association force me to make repairs on my property ?
YES. In the event a homeowner does not maintain, repair, or replace items that they are responsible for per the Home Owner’s Association guidelines the Association may, at the expense of the Home Owner, order the repairs, maintenance, or replacement items. The Home Owner will be given written notification that the Association’s intent is to repair the property at the Owners sole cost. If the Owner does not reimburse the Association in a timely manner, the Association may have the authority to put a lien on the property for the amount of the repairs.
