In this current buyer’s market, what can I do inside my house to make it show better than the competition? I am in a must move situation.
I’m sure your listing agent has many ideas, so be sure to heed his/her advice. Some advice I give is that since you know you will be moving, go ahead and start packing now to reduce any clutter. Look around the house, including your closets, and anything you don’t need for the next few months go ahead and box them up and put them in a storage room. Most people are surprised at how little they actually need after going through this exercise. Be sure all of your lights work and have them ALL on for showings. A lot of your competition may be vacant, dark houses, so your bright, nicely appointed (but not cluttered) home will shine.
